Area anglers reported another good week of fishing across the coastal water.
Inshore fishing is producing good catches of speckled trout and red drum. Spanish mackerel are being caught along the beaches and around the inlets on Kastmasters, Sting Silvers Clarkspoons and trolling Clarkspoons. Fishing at the nearshore rocks and artificial reefs is producing catches of king mackerel, amberjacks, Spanish mackerel and some mahi. Bottom fishing is producing catches of black sea bass, snapper, beeliners, grouper and triggerfish. Gulf Stream fishing is producing catches of wahoo, tuna, mahi, sailfish, blue marlin and white marlin.
Joe Johnston reports speckled trout are being caught early in the morning on live shrimp.
Red drum are being caught in the marshes on gold spoon and under-spin jigs tipped with soft plastics.
Spanish mackerel are being caught on along the beaches and around the inlets on Kastmasters and Sting Silvers.

Captain Bobby Bourquin reports fishing continues to be very good along the Crystal Coast.
Fishing at the nearshore rocks and reefs is producing catches of Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, amberjacks and some mahi. Offshore bottom fishing is producing catches of black sea bass, beeliners, grouper, snapper and triggerfish. Gulf stream fishing was just a little slower than in previous weeks with boats reporting catches of mahi, wahoo, tuna, sailfish, white marlin and blue marlin.

Captain Bill Dillon reports Gulf Stream fishing is producing excellent catches of mahi.
In addition to the mahi, boats are reporting catches of blackfin tuna, wahoo, white marlin, blue marlin and sailfish.
