Anita Lynn Everette, 39, of 70 Stallion Circle, Apt. B, Havelock, died on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.

Anita Lynn Everette, 39, of 70 Stallion Circle, Apt. B, Havelock, died on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.

She was a member of St. Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where she was a youth counselor, choir member and assistant secretary. She served in the New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association on the youth board and as a member of the luncheon committee. She attended Havelock High School and Craven Community College and worked at the 7-Day Troop Store at Cherry Point and at A Place at the Beach in Atlantic Beach.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 5770 Adams Creek Road, Havelock, with the Bishop Melvin Walker officiating. Entombment will follow in the Everette Family Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Anthony Coplin Jr.; one daughter, Aniya Everette; parents, Milton Sr. and Emma Everette; five brothers, Melvin Everette, Dwight Everette, Milton Everette Jr., David Everette and Charles Everette; two sisters, Cathy Byam and Deidre Everette; and one granddaughter.

The family will receive friends at the residence of her mother, 310 Cherry Branch Drive, Havelock.

Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, 701 West St., New Bern.
