Benjamin “Ski” Bernard Bronokowski Jr., (MGySgt. Ret. USMC) age 76, died at Cherry Point Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on July 1, 2016.

HAVELOCK - Benjamin “Ski” Bernard Bronokowski Jr., (MGySgt. Ret. USMC) age 76, died at Cherry Point Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on July 1, 2016.

Benjamin honored his country with 30 years of service in the United States Marine Corps. He was a Vietnam Veteran, an active member of the Fleet Reserve Association and the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 7315. During his retirement years, he loved the outdoors. He loved spending his time fishing and working in his garden.

A funeral service, officiated by Father William Upah, will be 10:30 Thursday morning at the Munden Funeral Home & Cremations Chapel, 908 Lake Road, Havelock.

A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 at the Munden Funeral Home & Cremations Chapel.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of thirty-three years, Benita Bronokowski, his father, Benjamin Bronokowski and his brother, Franklin Bronokowski.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Meyers and her husband Bob; his daughter, Ruthy Kubinski; two sons, Kenny Bronokowski; Andy Bronokowski of Havelock and two grand-children, Shania and De’Marco Bronokowski.
