No one injured in early morning blaze

HARLOWE — Fire destroyed a mobile home Friday morning in the Harlowe community of eastern Craven County.

According to the Harlowe Fire Department, the 12:18 a.m. fire started under the mobile home at 336 Godette School Road. There were no injuries.

Jesse Kearney, of the Harlowe Fire Department, said that the mobile home is still standing but the inside was gutted and the home is uninhabitable.

The Havelock Fire and Rescue Department also responded to the scene.

The cause of the fire was not immediately available and is under investigation.
