1. Bernaroo Music Festival

The Bernaroo Music and Arts Festival is scheduled for Friday and Saturday in New Bern.

Events are based at the Isaac Taylor Garden, 228 Craven St.

The festival includes some of the state’s talented artists across various venues in the downtown area. The Isaac Taylor Garden will be home to the festival’s marquee events, with many businesses scheduled to offer free music and art galleries throughout the day on Saturday.

Admission to the ticketed events is $15 or $25 for both days.

2. 4EverAll concert

The band 4EverAll is scheduled to perform a free concert from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Jaycee Park, 807 Shepard St., at the Morehead City Waterfront.

The band plays a variety of acoustic and rock music.

The concert is part of the Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department’s summer concert series.

3. All-American Fish Fry

The Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center in Harkers Island has scheduled its All-American Fish and Shrimp Fry from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The event is designed to recognize armed forces personnel by providing military families and veterans a complimentary lunch of fresh fish and shrimp.

The event includes children’s activities as well as a special recognition of the Cape Lookout LSS crew for the rescue of the Sarah D.J. Rawson.

4. Summer Party

The Beaufort Historical Association has scheduled its Summer Party from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday in Beaufort.

The event features food, open bar and live music from the band Punch as well as a silent and live auction.

Tickets are $100 with proceeds going to support the programs of the Beaufort Historic Site.

5. Beach Music Bash

The Under the Stars Beach Music Bash is scheduled from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Carteret County Speedway in Cape Carteret.

Jim Quick and the Coastline Band along with The Fantastic Shakers are headlining the concert.

General admission is $15 per person, and tickets will be available at the gate.

No coolers, pets or tailgating are permitted. Concessions will be available.

The speedway is located at 501 Whitehouse Fork Road off N.C. 58 in Cape Carteret.
