Tickets are available for the upcoming 2019-2020 Carolina Gospel Association concerts.

The first is scheduled for Sept. 19 and continues with performances through April 2020. The concerts are at the 1,200-seat auditorium at R-S Central High, 641 U.S. 221 North, Rutherfordton. All tickets are general admission with first come, first served seating.

Some favorite groups including The Hoppers and The Kingdom Heirs are returning. Also in the lineup are Jim and Melissa Brady, Gold City, Mark Trammel Quartet, Heart 2 Heart, Southern Sound Quartet, Real Truth Revival and Triumphant Quartet. Carolina Quartet also appears at all of this season's concerts.

Season passes include seating at all seven concerts for $60. Major credit cards are accepted by phone at 704-678-1683. Tickets are also available at the door. Tickets to individual concerts are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. For online tickets visit CarolinaGospel.com.

Gold City, Carolina Quartet and Southern Sound Quartet

7 p.m. Sept. 19

Gold City is a male group with a history of hit songs about faith and hope, from "Midnight Cry” and “When I Get Carried Away” to “I’m Not Giving Up.”

 

Mark Trammel Quartet and Carolina Quartet

7 p.m. Oct. 18

For four decades, Mark Trammel has shared his baritone voice with gospel music fans. He’s appeared with the groups The Kingsmen, The Cathedrals, Greater Vision and Gold City. The Mark Trammel Quartet is known for smooth vocal harmonies and hit songs including “Testimony.”

 

Jim and Melissa Brady and Carolina Quartet

7 p.m. Nov. 21

The Bradys have a catalog of more than 200 songs. They sing and write together. Jim sang with The Booth Brothers for more than 12 years. The couple has appeared on The Gaither Homecoming tour and at the National Quartet Convention.

 

Heart 2 Heart, Carolina Quartet and Real Truth Revival

7 p.m. Jan. 16, 2020

Heart 2 Heart is a Cherryville-based trio featuring David and Deana Kiser with their friend Rhonda House. Their songs include “He Is There”and “Looking To The Master’s Plan.”

 

Kingdom Heirs and Carolina Quartet

7 p.m. Feb. 6, 2020

Kingdom Heirs are regular performers at Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. When not at Dollywood, they make time for touring eight weeks a year. Their hits include “I’ll Know I’m Home,” “Tell Me Why” and “He Locked the Gates.”

 

The Hoppers and Carolina Quartet

7 p.m. March 19, 2020

The Hoppers are known as America’s favorite family of gospel music. They’re a three-generation family group from North Carolina known for dynamic performances and songs with lyrics of praise. Their signature song is “Shoutin’ Time.”

 

Triumphant Quartet and Carolina Quartet

7 p.m. April 16, 2020

Triumphant is a male quartet known for songs including “Saved By Grace” and “Love Came Calling.” They were voted favorite male quartet from 2009-2012 by Singing News magazine.
