Heroin and cocaine possession among charges

Two Havelock men were among ten arrested in recent days in the latest round of arrests of the Operation Who’s Next drug sweep.

Hondo Lashawn Jarman, 29, of 116 Tar Heel Drive in Havelock, was charged with one count of maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substance; one count of possession with intent to manufacture, dell and deliver heroin; and one count of sell and deliver heroin.

Jarman was placed under a $25,000 secured bond in Carteret County Jail.

John Wesley McCaskill Jr., 37, of 140 Legacy Lane in Havelock, was charged with two counts of maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substance; two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine; and two counts of sell and deliver cocaine.

McCaskill was placed in Carteret County Jail under a $24,000 bond.

The two Havelock men were among 10 who were caught in the 12th and latest round of arrests in the drug sweep,  according to a release from the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office.

The eight others included Paul Stephon Bryant, 37, of Beaufort, Toby Lee Fulford, 39, of Beaufort, Steven Edward Godfrey, 56, of Morehead City, Tina Love Morris, 59, of Morehead City, Vanessa Nolan, 55, of Beaufort,  Louise Marie Palma, 29, of Morehead City, and Richard Edward Palma, 61, of Morehead City.
