The Havelock High boys lacrosse team lost 15-6 to Cedar Ridge in the first round of the playoffs last week.


The Havelock High boys lacrosse team lost 15-6 to Cedar Ridge in the first round of the playoffs last week.



Cedar Ridge (8-7) tallied five goals in the second period to break a 3-3 tie and then outscored the Rams 7-2 in the second half.



Richard Fischer had two goals and an assist to lead the Rams, while Malik Brown had a goal and an assist. Gage Collins, Jacob Hamilton and Nathan Crowe had Havelock’s other goals.



Rease Dearing had 10 saves for the Rams, while Kevin Smith added two.



Sean Tobin had five goals and Graham Tobin had four to lead Cedar Ridge.



The Rams finish their second lacrosse season with an 8-8 record.
