“We just moved the ball great tonight,” Joyner said. “I feel like when we play together and the way we did tonight, we shouldn’t lose to anyone.”

Joyner swished a pair of 3-pointers in addition to being a force in the paint.

Havelock dominated the rebounding in the contest as well, 34-22.

Jared Morton was the lone Pirate in double-figures, leading the way with 11 points.

Havelock’s win extended its winning-streak to six games, as they are undefeated since many of the football players joined the team after winning the state title on Dec. 14.

The Rams were able to empty the bench as everyone in white and black got into the game.

“They are a goofy bunch to coach,” Fryczynski said with a smile. “But they are fun to coach and fun to watch and I like this team and hopefully we can keep this streak going Friday night down at Jacksonville.”
