Havelock will serve as the host city for the senior division Babe Ruth Eastern North Carolina State Tournament beginning on Friday at the Babe Ruth fields at the Havelock Recreation Complex.

Tournament games are scheduled Friday through Sunday, with the possibility of a Monday championship game at 2 p.m. should a team emerge from the loser’s bracket.

Crystal Coast Babe Ruth and Havelock Babe Ruth are serving as hosts for the double-elimination tournament.

As the host, Crystal Coast will have a team in the tournament. The squad, made up of players from Havelock, Swansboro and Carteret County, is scheduled to play the first game of the tournament against Cary at 1 p.m. Friday at the recreation complex.

Lumber River East is scheduled to take on Garner at 4 p.m., while Lumber River West, which received a bye, will take on the winner of the Cary-Crystal Coast contest at 7 p.m. on Friday.

The loser of the Crystal Coast-Cary contest on Friday is scheduled to play at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Other games on Saturday are scheduled for 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Sunday’s scheduled includes a contest at 1 p.m. A potential champion could be crowned in a 5 p.m. contest on Sunday, but should the team from the loser’s bracket win that contest, a final championship game is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Monday.
