Kyran Bowman scored 27 points and Havelock held on down the stretch, turning two late steals into four points, as the Rams beat Jacksonville 68-64 to remain undefeated in the Coastal 3A Conference.

Chris Smith led JHS with 25 points while Billy Bodette had a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

“It was back and forth in the fourth quarter,” JHS coach Doug Erny said. “We turned it over vs. the press late. They did a little bit better than we did down the stretch. But my kids played great.”
