Noah Kemble scored two goals and added two assists, but it wasn’t enough as the Havelock soccer team fell 6-4 at Wilmington Laney Monday night.
The Rams (1-2) trailed 3-1 at halftime, and their rally in the second half fell short.
Kevin Quinn also had two goals, while Miguel Diaz-Maurino added an assist for the Rams, who totaled 15 shots for the match.
Zach Martin had four saves in goal for Havelock.
The Rams are next scheduled to play against Greenville Rose today in their first home match of the season at Havelock High with the junior varsity beginning at 5 p.m. and the varsity scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
