London Duvall scored on a pair of rushing touchdowns (17 and three yards).

“We pretty much dominated that first half and finished,” Cooper said. “Every time we touched the ball, we scored. Everybody did their jobs.”

Havelock gained 435 yards of offense. Duvall ran for 79 yards, while junior standout Derrell Scott was limited to six carries for 49 yards.

Lindsey caught four passes for 152 yards.

Defensively, Havelock limited West Carteret’s offense to 188 yards. Coplon and Taylor Woods each had an interception.

The Rams recorded five sacks – Malcom Ashley, Harry Caldwell, Andrew Vanover, Anthony Fisher and Akenno Godette.

The Havelock seniors have just one conference loss in four years – a defeat to West Carteret in 2010.
