The Havelock Rams wanted to win and send a message to whomever would meet them in the eastern 3A championship game next week.

Message delievered.

The Rams rolled the Washington Pam Pack 57-7 behind eight rushing touchdowns.

Junior sensation Derrell Scott rushed for 138 yards on 13 carries, and accounted for four scores, while fellow junior Taylor Woods amassed 72 yards on seven carries and three touchdowns. London Duvall added the eighth.

After Scott scored the second of his four touchdowns midway through the second quarter, the Rams recovered an immaculate onside kick that led to another score and a 28-0 halftime lead.

The Pam Pack got on the board in the third quarter after connecting on a 35-yard Hail Mary that set up a 1-yard rushing score.

Through three playoff contests, Havelock has outscored its opponents 152-7.
