The Rams had few problems with the outmatched Pam Pack, which didn’t make a basket from the field until the third quarter, in a 56-16 conference victory.

Havelock improved to 10-8 overall and maintained their position in the fourth of five league playoff spots, improving to 5-5 in the conference.

Havelock led 16-2 after the first quarter, and Washington managed just a single free throw in the second quarter, as the Rams pulled ahead 37-3 at intermission.

Washington’s first made basket from the field came with 6:51 left in the third quarter and actually helped the Pam Pack outscore the Rams 9-5 in the period.

However, the Rams re-established their dominance in the fourth quarter, scoring the first 12 points and never looking back.

Shakina Dyer led a balanced Havelock attack with 13 points, while Natalie Johnson had 12 and Apriel Barrette 11.
