Havelock wrestlers capture another league title
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Havelock High wrestling team beat South Central 54-13 Wednesday night to earn its 13th conference championship in the last 15 years.
The Rams improved to 25-1 in dual meets heading into Saturday’s Coastal 3A Conference tournament at 9 a.m. at Havelock High School.
Winners for Havelock Wednesday night were Jake Smith (103 pounds), Matt Bogard (112), Christian Holleman (119), Nigel Archer (130), Zach Jaramillo (135), Mike Newby (140), Kevin Sherry (145), Ray Davis (152), Terrence Zaleski (160) and Thurman Green (215).
