It has been another week of terrible weather for area anglers.
However, fishermen that did venture out reported catching some fish. Inshore fishing is producing some speckled trout and red drum with the best fishing coming in areas with high salinity and good tide flow.
Surf fishing is producing catches of red drum.
Joe Johnston reports there has not been much to report on over the past week.
There have been some red drum caught in the surf on cut bait and soft plastics.

Captain Allen Jernigan reports there are some fishing being caught despite the cold weather.
Some red drum and speckled trout are being caught in areas that have high salinity and a nice tide flow. Best baits have been scented soft plastics worked very slow to entice the fish.
