Editor: When a former sheriff who is now a former confessed felon can run for sheriff it sends a message to our youth that crime does pay. I’m sad and sickened that this is happening and I plan to sue the state to allow all felons with nonviolent records who have served 10 years to be released from prison with their record cleaned so they too can run for elected offices. How sick is it to have former criminals with that much power to abuse.
