Mamie Lou Small Gibbs, 61, of 315 Little Dove Road, Pikeville, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at her residence.

She was a native of the North River Community of Beaufort and a production associate of Franklin Bakery.

Funeral was Monday at Faith Tabernacle of Praise with Donald Crooms, Cheryl Thaxton and Guy Murray officiating.

Entombment was at Faith Tabernacle of Praise Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Arlette Small Whitley of Waldorf, Md., and Nina Gibbs Chambers of Pikeville; one son, Jeremiah Stubbs of Goldsboro; three sisters, Janice George of Havelock, Juanita Small George of Beaufort and Mary Parmley of Newport; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the residence of Juanita Small George, 836 Laurel Road, Beaufort.

Arrangements are by Oscar’s Mortuary, New Bern.
