Lewis Henry Sutton, 65, of 319 Tall Pine Road, Havelock, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern.

A native of Knoxville, Tenn., he retired from the Marine Corps after 21 years. He was later employed as the cafeteria manager of Havelock High School for 20 years. He was an associate member of Green Chapel M.B. Church.

Funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Green Chapel M.B. Church of Havelock with the Rev. James W. Mock officiating.

Burial will be at the Knoxville National Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Clark Sutton of the home; two daughters, Melinda Sutton-Martin and Jacqueline I. Sutton of Havelock; one brother, Michael Thomas Sutton of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sisters, Willard Ann Mosetella of Knoxville, Tenn., and Johnnie Mae Sutton Brown of Hollywood, Fla.; and two grandsons.
The family will receive friends at the residence.

Viewing will be held at the funeral service.

Arrangements are by Oscar’s Mortuary, New Bern.
