Leslie “Buster” Lott White Jr., 80, of 1721 Washington St., New Bern, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern.

He served in the U.S. Army and was formerly employed as a supply specialist at NADEP, Cherry Point.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery with military honors.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley White of the home; one son, Shelton White of Fayetteville; five daughters, Diane Wilson, Norma Spruell, Deborah Lews and Wanda Francisco, all of New Bern, and Connie Mayo of Havelock; two sisters, Grace Hudson of New Bern and Mary Walston of Jersey City, N.J.; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Oscar’s Mortuary, New Bern, and at other times at the residence.
