James King Frazier

James King Frazier, 90, of 265 Frazier Town Road, Havelock, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City.

He was a member of New Hope MB Church and a retired carpenter.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Sunday at New Hope MB Church with the Rev. Johnnie R. Smith Sr. officiating.

Entombment will follow in the New Hope Church Cemetery.

He is survived by eight sons, Larry Frazier of Tulsa, Okla., King Frazier, Barry Frazier, Marvin Frazier and Jason Frazier, all of Havelock, Quincy Frazier of Red Banks, N.J., Paul Frazier of Fredericksburg, Va., and Carl Frazier of Orlando, Fla.; four daughters, Aretha Gray of Greenville, Vanessa Bell of Charlotte, Mona Fuller of Dover, Del. and Valvetta Hall of Havelock; one brother, Milton Frazier Jr. of Havelock; two sisters, Essie Lowe and Bertha George of Havelock; 65 grandchildren; and 85 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, and visitation will be 4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Oscar’s Mortuary, New Bern, and other times at the residence.
