Jacquetta Marie Pullens Cooper, 67, of 315 Tall Pine Road, Havelock, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and served as choir director of the ladies choir. She was owner and operator of Ribbons and Bows-balloon decorator.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Baptist Church, 520 Roberts Road, Newport, with the Rev. Clyde I. Eborn officiating.

Interment will follow in Forest Oaks Memorial Gardens, Havelock.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin T. Cooper of the home; one son, Lawrence E. Cooper of Rocky Mount; three daughters, Camille C. Steepleton of Bedford, Va., Anna C. Adams of Spring Lake, and Tiana R. Cooper of Havelock; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at Oscar’s Mortuary, New Bern.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Grace Baptist Church and other times at the residence.
