Ida “Muh” Beatrice Neal Windley, 85, of 275 Bacon Road in the Adams Creek community, Havelock, died on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at her residence.

She was a lifetime resident of the Adams Creek community and member of St. Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the Mother’s Board, the Missionary Board, Usher Board, Senior Choir, BTU and the N.B.E.M.B.A. Mass and Unity Choirs.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Melvin Walker officiating.

Interment will follow the service in the Windley Family Cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, William Windley and Sterling Windley of Havelock, and Clyde Windley Jr. of Beaufort; two daughters, Esther Prichard and Doris Howard of Havelock; three brothers, Leonard Stewart Jr. of Havelock, William Stewart of Newport and David Stewart of Apex; three sisters, Mary Parker of Beulaville, and Emma Everette and GlenDora Lane of Havelock; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence.

Viewing will be 1 to 6 p.m. Monday at Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, 701 West St., New Bern, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the Church.
