Charles Houston Webb, 54, of New Bern, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 following a massive stroke.

He was born in Sea Level Hospital and graduated from East Carteret High School. He was employed as a quality assurance director at the Naval Aviation Rework Facility at Cherry Point. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge St. John’s No. 3, Sudan Temple, New Bern Shrine Club (treasurer), Sudan Cooligans Unit, and Tuscarora Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dog field trials and golf.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charlene Pierce-Guider officiating.

Burial, with Masonic Rites, will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Jarman Webb; one daughter, Olivia Houston Webb; and two sisters, Marjorie Best and Ellen Rose.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pollock-Best Funeral Home, New Bern, and at other times at the home.
