Charles Andrew Kashner Jr., 68, formerly of Havelock, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Two Rivers Health Care in New Bern.

Born in Stewartstown, Pa., he was a conductor for the B&O Railroad for 20 years. He enjoyed woodworking. Known as “Dwide,” he also worked putting together doublewide mobile homes.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Greenmont Cemetery in York, Pa.

He is survived by his wife, Gini Kashner; two daughters, Lori Heiland of York, Pa., and Michelle Kashner of Virginia Beach, Va.; one brother, Glenn Kashner of Wilmington; one sister, Darlene Kashner Grimm of Stewartstown, Pa.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Woodbridge Funeral Home, Havelock.
