Barry Nelson Lewis, 52, of 2055 N.C. 101, Havelock, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at his residence.
He was a graduate of Havelock High School and was formerly employed as a longshoreman.
Funeral was Monday at St. Antioch M.B. Church with the Revs. Melvin Walker and Larry Taylor officiating.
He is survived by his father, James A. Lewis of the home; two sisters, Myra C. Gaines of Greensboro and Diane A. Lewis of Havelock; and one brother, William Davis of Morehead City.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
Arrangements are by Oscar’s Mortuary.
