Havelock Police Seek 'Most Wanted' Fugitives
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Havelock police have issued a fresh plea for area citizens to keep a sharp eye out for three men on the city's most wanted list.
In a release, Havelock Police Chief G. Wayne Cyrus said that all three are believed to be in the Havelock area.
Harry James Oliver, 26, described as 5-foot-10, 185 pounds, black hair and brown eyes, is wanted on warrants from Onslow County charging him with a probation violation. According to the release, Oliver is considered a flight risk and will run from police.
Willie Sherman Blevins, 32, 6-foot, 220 to 240 pounds with black hair, is sought on warrants from Craven County for failure to appear in court Sept. 24, 2007. Blevins is charged with breaking and entering the former Fast Freddie's sports bar in Havelock, according to the release.
Herbert Lee Ambrose, 5-foot-9, 290 to 300 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, is sought on charges of possession of crack cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, two counts of sale and delivery of cocaine, and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, according to the release. Ambrose is also considered a flight risk and is believed to be hiding in Havelock, James City or New Bern.
