The motorcyclist was transported to CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern, but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash Thursday evening on Ketner Boulevard in Havelock.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Pinecone Lane and Ketner Boulevard, and involved a collision between a passenger car and the motorcycle.
Havelock police and rescue personnel arrived at the scene. The motorcyclist was transported to CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern. He was reportedly alert and speaking with rescue personnel at the scene. His condition was not immediately available.
The driver of the passenger car was not injured.
The names of the drivers have not been released, as Havelock police are continuing to investigate.
