Havelock police arrest third suspect in break-ins

Havelock police have arrested a third suspect they believe was involved in a rash of recent home break-ins.

Nicholas Anthony Dove, 18, of Havelock, was arrested Oct. 5 at his home without incident, according to a release from the Havelock Police Department. Dove has been charged with one count of felony breaking and entering and one count of felony larceny after breaking and entering.

Dove is currently being held at the Craven County Jail under a $50,000 bond.

According to the release, police were not able to recovery any property that may have been stolen with Dove’s arrest.

Police have been investigating a series of home break-ins that occurred over the span of two months in various parts of Havelock, including Pinto Court, Lake Road, Mustang Court, John Court, Mare Court, Shepard Street, Garrett Lane and Rams Road and Slocum Village.

Also arrested last week were Brian Paul Jones, 19, of Havelock, and George Joseph Yulee, 18, of Havelock. They were taking into custody on Oct. 3.

Jones faces one count of felony conspiracy, eight counts of felony larceny and nine counts of felony breaking and entering. Yulee is charged with one count of felony conspiracy, three counts of felony larceny and three counts of felony breaking and entering.
