Four-car crash slowing traffic in Havelock

A four-car crash tied up traffic in Havelock and resulted in injuries.

The wreck happened around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of West Main Street and Chadwick Avenue in front of Rose Brothers Furniture.

Occupants of three of the four vehicles involved were receiving treatment at the scene for their injuries. At least two small children were being examined at the scene for injuries.

A pickup truck hit a passenger vehicle, and another passenger vehicle and SUV were also involved in the crash.

Westbound traffic backed up on West Main Street toward the center of town, while eastbound traffic backed up to Stonebridge Square.

Havelock police are investigating.
