Ham's Restaurant opens

Ham's Restaurant in Havelock opened for business Tuesday .
The restaurant has been under construction since the spring of this year. According to owner Tripp Blandford, the new restaurant has 110 employees and is open Monday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
"It's the first day. I hope somebody shows up. We've got a lot of employees," Blandford said. "It took a little bit to get it together, but we're here."
Located on U.S. 70, the restaurant is located between the Hampton Inn and the post office.
