The Havelock Junior Legion Baseball Program will be conducting a Christmas Tree Haul Away program in an effort to raise money for the upcoming year.

For $10, members of the program will come to homes to haul away old Christmas trees. The collected trees will then be taken to Fort Macon State Park to help with the prevention of beach erosion.

Pickup dates will be from Saturday through Jan. 4.

Money raised will go to support the baseball program during its summer season. Checks can be made payable to Havelock Junior Legion.

To schedule Christmas tree pickup, call Matt James at 412-5063, Jerry Morris at 447-4277 or Daniel Griffee at 665-0844.
