Havelock Rotary to hold cornhole tournament

The Havelock-Cherry Point Rotary Club and Gerber Collision and Glass in Havelock have teamed up to hold a benefit cornhole tournament on Saturday at Baldree’s Tire in Havelock.

Registration and check-in is scheduled for noon with the double-elimination tournament to follow at 1 p.m.

The team entry fee is $30.

Food and beverages will be available for puchase.

Proceeds from the tournament go to support the charitable efforts of the Havelock-Cherry Point Rotary Club, including support of area nonprofit organizations as well as college scholarships for local high school seniors, and national and international causes such as Polio Plus and the Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust.

Baldrees Tire is located at 103 Catawba Road across from Burger King in Havelock. The tournament will be held in an open grass area next to the business.
