A free workshop on how to use iPads is scheduled from 1 to 2:30 p.m. July 18 at the Havelock-Craven County Public Library.

Susan Braaten, who provides technology support services and training, is scheduled to be the instructor. She is expected to cover such topics as going paperless, the cloud, how to manage mail, Siri and organizing your life digitally.

There will be a question-and-answer session as well as time to explore the iPad.

Though the event is free, those planning to attend are asked to register in advance by Tuesday.

The Havelock-Craven County Public Library is located on the Havelock campus of Craven Community College off Cunningham Boulevard.
