Veteran conductor Philip Evancho will lead the Craven Community Chorus in presenting its annual spring concert in sessions Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Evancho founded the chorus nearly three decades ago.

The concert “Magnificat/Disney Magic” is scheduled at Orringer Auditorium on the New Bern campus of Craven Community College.

The shows will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets are available from any chorus member and also at Fuller’s Music and the Bank of the Arts. On the days of the concert, tickets also will be available at the Orringer box office.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

The spring concert series will feature a return performance of John Rutter’s “Magnificat.” The text was written in Latin and taken from the “Song of Mary.”
