Letter: If Havelock builds it, tourists will not come

Some good ones are handicapped or have other medical reasons why they can’t play ball or they simply have other outdoor interests. Let the ballplayers go to highway 101 and try offering something for all ages for a change.

We pay city taxes for our own city expenses, not for the use of tourists. We need a board that can plan ahead when they spend. First, clean up our streets and ditches. Consider all ages when you purchase and build. Our growing amount of taxes is meant to be for those who pay them, so think ahead.
