In honor of National EMS Week, which is May 20-26, we want to thank our community’s emergency medical services professionals for their professionalism and dedication.

EMS and first responders are at work in our communities 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a week often in dangerous and stressful situations. We appreciate the important part they play in the care of our patients before they arrive and during transport.

Preparing for mass emergency events

While we pray our community never experiences a mass casualty event, Pardee and local EMS professionals are prepared.

Our hospital staff considers these professionals to be a part of our Pardee team. We train and practice emergency drills together to insure our response to community-wide emergencies exceeds standard expectations.

During these drills, the teams simulate large-scale emergency situations so both EMS and our emergency staff are prepared for a sudden influx of patients. This practice ensures there is no guess work when it comes to mass emergency situations and the experts can focus on saving lives.

EMS and our emergency department

EMS professionals save lives.

Thank you, EMS professionals, for the outstanding work you do to care for our community. On behalf of the entire Pardee family, we are grateful every day to work with you.
