A.J. Frazier is being treated at UNC Burn Center

The Havelock High School band is selling T-shirts and wrist bracelets to raise money to help a student injured in a boat motor explosion.

Havelock High student A.J. Frazier and his father were several burned in the incident and are being treated at the UNC Burn Center in Chapel Hill.

Frazier, who is also a cancer survivor, played trombone four, which was his assigned number in the marching band halftime show. The T-shirts and bracelets include “TB4” on them and “Forever Tough.”

T-shirts are $15 each and bracelets are $2 each, or three for $5, with all proceeds going to the family to help cover the expenses of travel and extended stays in Chapel Hill. Checks can be made payable to HHS Band. Purchases can be made at Havelock High School.

Those wishing to make a donation to the family can make checks payable to HHS Band, listing the Frazier family in the memo or note section, and mail them to Havelock High School, c/o Jorge Benitez, 101 Webb Blvd., Havelock, NC 28532.
