MumFest, New Bern’s largest outdoor event, has named a title sponsor and the headliner for its annual pre-festival outdoor concert.

Riverside Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram-FIAT-Mitsubishi-Subaru-Ford is the title sponsor for MumFest 2017-2019.

According to organizers Swiss Bear, Riverside is a dealership with a long history of supporting organizations and events in New Bern.

“We have a strong desire to help make MumFest the premier fall festival in eastern North Carolina,” said Dustin Tyson owner of Riverside. “Being the title sponsor of MumFest is something that I’ve had an interest in for some time. Riverside is looking forward to being part of New Bern’s favorite event.”

Swiss Bear leaders said it was a good choice.

Riverside plans on providing an entertainment and hospitality area for festival patrons. There will be activities for children and adults, a rest area that includes tables and seating, as well as a display of the many automobile brands that are available at the Riverside dealership.
