Atlantic Beach to host Beach Music Festival

The Atlantic Beach Beach Music Festival is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Circle in Atlantic Beach.
Featured bands include Coastline, the Band of Oz, Fantastic Shakers and Mighty Saints of Soul.
Admission is free, but pets and glass containers are prohibited.

2 Beaufort Music Festival
The Beaufort Music Festival is scheduled for Friday and Saturday along the Beaufort Waterfront.
Friday musical acts include 4EverAll, Elise Davis and Muddy Magnolias beginning at 5 p.m.
Two stages will be set up on Saturday, with music beginning at 11:30 a.m. and running through 10:30 p.m. Performers include Polyrhythmics, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Carolina Dare, Darkwater Rising and L Shape Lot, to name a few.
Admission is free, though beer gardens will be available, along with food trucks and a Kid and Family Area at the Beaufort Historic Site from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

3 Crystal Coast Boat Show
The Crystal Coast Boat Show is scheduled from Friday through Sunday in Morehead City.
Events include a boating do it yourself education series at Carteret Community College, a Float Your Boat art exhibit and art walk, sailing demonstrations, displays and rides, a car show, a performance by the Carteret Community Sunshine Band, a cornhole tournament, and a variety of boats, and marine products and services on display along the waterfront in Morehead City.

4 Under the Streetlamp
The New Bern Historical Society presents Under the Streetlamp Sunday in a 7 p.m. concert at the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center.
The group will perform its Rockin’ Around the Clock show with favorites from the Four Seasons, Beach Boys, Temptations, Beatles, and more.
The show will start at 7 p.m. with the Convention Center opening at 5 p.m. with seat tagging available.
General admission tickets are $38, plus tax, and $57 plus tax for premium seating. For active-duty military/dependents/students, general admission is $33 plus tax. Sponsor tickets with front, center seating and pre-show champagne reception are also available.

5 Craven Community Concert Band
The Craven Community Concert Band will present its final concert of the 2016-2017 season at 4 p.m. Sunday at Union Point Park in New Bern.
The free program will feature traditional band music, including marches, a Duke Ellington medley and the Symphonic Beatles.
The 50-member band is composed of working adults, retirees and students from Craven County Schools.
