There’s no business like show business for high school theater departments, and this is the time of year they shine.

Area youth will begin taking the stage this week as high school musical season begins.

White Oak High School will kick off the season with “Wizard of Oz,” which debuts tonight, and Southwest High School will wrap the season up with “We Open Tomorrow Night?,” which debuts May 11.
