No one injured during Sunday morning blaze
The cause of a fire that destroyed a mobile home and a vehicle in Harlowe Sunday morning is still under investigation.
Jeremy Brown, chief of the Harlowe Volunteer Fire Department, said the fire call came in at 9:20 a.m. The mobile home, located at 1080 Blades Road, was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, he said.
About 40 firefighters fought the fire, getting it under control in about an hour and a half, Brown said.
A women and a small child lived in the home, which was unlivable after the blaze, Brown said. An automobile that had been parked adjacent to the residence was also destroyed.
No one was injured in the fire.
Five engines from Harlowe responded with two engines from Mill Creek Volunteer Fire Department and one engine from Township 6 Volunteer Fire Department.
