Havelock’s Board of commissioners will get an update on sewer repairs at Tucker Creek at tonight’s regular meeting.

The board will be asked to allocate $35,922 of additional money from sewer fund retained earnings, for a total of $76,950 to be paid to James L. Cayton Utilities, Inc. for work done at 110 Heron Moon Court and 118 Farina Drive.

The board will also be asked to allocate an additional $5,000 from the general fund for the ADA bathroom upgrade project at Walter B. Jones Park. The total cost of the project is $35,000 to be paid to Williams Service Company, low bidder on the project

Additionally, the board will hear a report about the Havelock Police Department completion of the North Carolina League of Municipalities Law Enforcement Risk Review Process.

City finance director Lee Tillman will report on the July, 2016 monthly financials.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Havelock City Hall.
