ASHEBORO — Unravel the mystery behind the art of crochet as this class breaks down the five basic stitches behind seemingly complex crochet projects.

Participants will work on building a stitch swatch while progressing through the stitches, so grab your H-size hook (and a friend or two) and join in.

This class with Grace Stamper will cover the chain, single/double/triple and half-double crochet stitches. Students who have already taken a Crochet 101 class may repeat the class as many times as they wish.

Crochet 101, for ages 18 and up, will be offered two times, on Tuesdays, July 10 and 24, from 5-8 p.m. Class has a minimum of three students. Cost is $35 for members and $40 for non-members. Enrollment deadline is Friday, July 6.

To register, call the program director at 336-629-0399, ext. 22, or visit the Randolph Arts Guild, 123 Sunset Ave., Asheboro.
