Elijah Richards
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Elijah Richards, 90, of 4722 B Old Cherry Point Road, New Bern, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern.
He was a native of Havelock and was formerly employed at Snipes Buick Co. of Havelock, Winn Brothers Texaco for 20 years and Williams Texaco for 24 years.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Green Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. J.R. Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Battle Richards of the home; and one daughter, Carrie Richards of the home.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Oscar's Mortuary, New Bern.
