Marilyn Sue Wolbert
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Marilyn Sue Wolbert, 63, of Newport, died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at Duke University Medical Center.
She was a computer analyst with the Naval Aviation Depot at Cherry Point and retired in 2003 after 30 years of federal service. After retiring, she worked for Lockheed Martin in the information services department as a senior consultant until 2007.
She was a member of the Federal Women's Club as well as a former member of the Havelock Planning Board.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Munden Funeral Home chapel, Morehead City, with the Rev. Eric Lindblade officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Wolbert; one daughter, MaryBeth Wolbert Lanto and husband Brad of Cedar Point; one son, Robert Eugene Scoville Wolbert and wife Tammy of Winterville; son in-law Robert Bright of Emerald Isle; two granddaughters, Lauren Nicole Bright and Savannah Faith Lanto; and three grandsons, Zachary Kai Lanto, Ryan James Wolbert and Andrew Robert Wolbert.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Trill; and one daughter, Christine Wolbert Bright.
The family will receive friends at the home, 140 Marsh Harbour Drive, Newport, following the service.
