He was a member of the Iron Workers Union Chapter 387.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Baptist Church in Newport with the Rev. Clyde Eborn officiating.
Burial will follow at Forrest Oaks Cemetery in Havelock.
He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Cindy Walker of Havelock; three sisters, Rebecca Clark of Newport, and Deborah Walker and Julia Walker of Havelock; and grandmother, Mary Buehrig of Tampa, Fla.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Munden Funeral Home, Morehead City.
