Special visit

Comments 0

Bishop Michael Burbidge, bishop of the Raleigh Diocese that covers 54 counties, talks to students last week during a visit to Annunciation Catholic School. Burbidge talked to the students about how to show others of the love for God they have in their hearts and answered questions from the students, most of which involved how he became a bishop. Burbidge met with teachers and staff, including Principal June Pietras. It was his first visit to the school since he helped dedicate Annunciation’s new school building in October of 2007, and he ended his visit by saying Mass at Annunciation Catholic Church.
