Tessa is the latest addition to the family of Tom Boné, former Havelock News staffer, and his wife, Chris. Tessa is an 8-week-old female Boxer and came from a breeder in Jacksonville. Tessa joins an older playmate named Lacey, who just happens to have the distinction of being the first Havelock News Pet of the Week in July of 2007. The couple said they selected Tessa because her markings are distinctly different from Lacey, and they did not want to get the two dogs confused as Tessa gets older and bigger.
